Care for Recovery, Wellness, and You

This is a route to recovery for your real life, for the rest of your life.

There isn’t a magical pill, superfood, or meditation routine that will work for everyone.
Many women have been through a wide variety of different attempts to abandon their addictions, and many women have been frustrated and shamed by their outcomes.
There IS a recovery regimen that will work for you, and it will require time and effort on our part to craft, refine, and discover the right protocol for you.

Support for Wherever You Are Right Now

True recovery is best achieved and sustained as part of a commitment package because of the consistency that regularly scheduled encounters require.
Your plan will be crafted to meet your needs and directed towards your personal recovery goals.
We want to partner with you for the long haul to ensure that what we create together is both lasting and effective.
Recovery isn't about sudden, sweeping changes. It's about making small adjustments and finessing them depending on your particular biological, emotional, psychological, and logistical needs to ensure they are the right fit for you.

Help for when you’re ready for something different.
Care for rebuilding stability, one step at a time.
A safe place to start. No judgment, just support.

If This Sounds Familiar, You’re in the Right Place

Alcohol Dependence

The Sinclair Method is a compassionate, evidence-based approach to supporting individuals in changing their relationship with alcohol, without requiring an all-or-nothing commitment to abstinence.

By using a medication called naltrexone before drinking, this method works to gradually reduce the brain’s reward response to alcohol over time, helping cravings naturally diminish. For those who don’t feel aligned with traditional recovery models, the Sinclair Method offers a flexible, patient-centered path that meets you where you are.

It empowers individuals to make meaningful, sustainable changes at their own pace, with the goal of regaining control, improving overall well-being, and creating a healthier relationship with alcohol.

Nicotine Dependence

Nicotine dependence can be deeply ingrained in your life, impacting not just physical health, but daily routines, stress response, and overall well-being.

For many, it’s not simply a matter of willpower, but a complex interaction between brain chemistry, habit, and environment. If you’ve found it difficult to cut back or quit, you’re not alone… and you don’t have to navigate it without support.

At Chinn GYN, we take a multifaceted, individualized approach to addressing nicotine dependence. Care may include medication support, behavioral strategies, and lifestyle adjustments designed to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal, and help reshape long-standing patterns.

Rather than a one-size-fits-all plan, we work with you to create a path that feels realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your goals. We know that meaningful change happens when care meets you where you are.

Opioid Dependence

Opioid use disorder is complex, and healing often requires both compassionate support and thoughtful medical care. Treatment with medications can help stabilize the brain, reduce cravings, and prevent withdrawal, creating the space needed to focus on recovery and long-term well-being.

At the same time, we work with you to explore alternative pain management strategies (if necessary) that address the root of your discomfort without relying on opioids.

Whether your goal is to taper, transition, or fully discontinue use, our approach is individualized, nonjudgmental, and rooted in meeting you where you are… because recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and every step forward matters.

Care That Starts With You

Most medical providers are under the impression that women who struggle with addiction have poor self-control or psychological problems.

We know that addiction is a disease, just as we know that diabetes is a disease.

There are many behavioral options available for managing addiction and being in recovery, but we recognize that these programs often fail to meet the biological need that engaging in a behavior or consuming a substance has been meeting for you.

To fully treat and address the complex disease of addiction, we must address the chemistry and biology behind addictive disorders.

This is not a quick fix. This is not intensive treatment in a setting that doesn't translate back to your normal, daily environment.

This is sustainable sobriety from your substance or behavior of choice.

What Addiction Treatment for Women Actually Looks Like

The first step is simply showing up as you are - no pressure to have everything figured out.

You’ll have space to talk about what’s been going on, what’s been feeling hard, and what you’re hoping to change.

This is a judgment-free conversation focused on understanding your situation and what kind of support would actually feel helpful for you.

From there, care is tailored to your needs and pace.

That may include medical support, counseling coordination, recovery planning, or ongoing check-ins to help you stay grounded and supported over time.

The goal isn’t to rush you through a process. It’s to walk alongside you with steady, realistic support that meets you where you are.
